  •
Mr. Black's World History Page contains an entire year of World History class content within one site. This site contains information, lesson plans, hands on activities, and more. A teacher could use this site to teach an entire year of World History without going anywhere else for another resource. If you do use the site just give Mr. Black credit he obviously dedicated a serious amount of time creating this site.

In this lesson, students will explore the connection between reforestation and deforestation and greenhouse gases. They'll do this by collecting data about local trees and analyzing and interpreting data about deforestation and reforestation, which will serve as the example in this lesson of one set of activities that can affect levels of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.

The website can be searched by grade level or by reading component. You can print out the resources, laminate them and save yourself a lot of time for making center activities.

Awesome website! This site extremely vast in educational topics and links for assistance. The teacher tool kit link is priceless. You are able to generate worksheets, create word bingo activities (great for vocabulary retention) and there are lesson plans (i.e. sentence starters). My favorite link is the alternative assessment; here, you can find ideas and rubrics for alternative assessments in your classroom.
