This is a free website that allows young kids to create stories. It provides them with characters and lines. Once the story is created it can't be edited. The stories can be shared.

An alternative to MovieMaker and iMovie. Might be easier for students who don't have access to either programs at home. After playing with this for a bit, I find it to be more useful than Animoto because users can do more. Instead o just plugging things in, you actually get to play around a bit more.

This is a very well, designed and user friendly classroom blogging tool. I have been using it with my fifth graders and it is working very well. I can review all of the content before allowing it to be posted. I can make comments and mark errors and re-submit it to the student to be corrected. I can even pull up a blog as an example and edit it in front of the class without telling them whose blog it is. Pretty cool :-)
