Should You Convert Your Photos to DNG? - 1 views

    this is a really good article on the pros of converting to DNG after reading a couple of other websites about the pros and cons of converting to DNG i decided that i was pro and i think that this artical sums up the pros in a pretty simple and easy to understand way.

    I think that this article agrees with the process of converting your photos to DNGs. I highlighted main points made by the author, but basically he listed many reasons why we should convert our photos to DNGs. One of the reasons I think would be the main reason I would convert my photos would be because I could would be able to open my photos in a lot of different softwares, not just Adobe softwares. It would be brilliant if camera manufacturers could use DNG instead of the RAW format. #proDNG

    The benefits of DNG makes me personally want to change my work flow. DNG is universal, smaller in size, and is adjustable like an ordinary raw file. Unlike Canon, Sony, and Nikons proprietary RAW formats. DNG is universal and I've seen it used for video and photo. Id make the switch.
