Microsoft has officially announced Windows 8.1 update yesterday in San Francisco. The update is said to be based on feedback from customers. The Windows 8.1 Update brings a large set of customer-driven improvements including the return of the Start button, tutorials, more personalization options, the ability to boot to desktop, improvements to multi-tasking, and more.

Microsoft has introduced new Skype app for Windows Phone 8.1 at Build conference in San Francisco. The app is not released yet, but will be coming soon for Windows Phone 8.1 users.
