bubbl.us - free web application for brainstorming online - 0 views

I've been using this tool with students in place of our Inspiration software. While bubbl.us is not as sophisticated as Inspiration (no conversion to outline form, no educational templates), it is quick and easy to use. Webs can be shared with teacher and/or other students as view only or with full editing rights. My kids really seem to like it because it runs faster, seems easier to put together and they can work on it from home.

"Zoho offers a suite of collaborative tools that in many ways are similar to the Google Docs suite. When Google announced last winter that they were no longer going to offer Google Notebook to new users, many teachers went scrambling looking for a replacement. Zoho Notebook is the replacement that some teachers chose. Zoho Notebook allows you to save links, add notes about those links, and just simply write notes. Today, Zoho announced that you now have the option to use a search tab rather than just scroll through your notes to find something. For people who save a lot of links and notes this should be an excellent option. Applications for Education Zoho Notebook is an excellent tool to introduce to your students at the beginning of the school year. Students can use Zoho Notebook to keep track of the web resources that they find while researching a topic. One of the selling points of Zoho Notebook over similar services is that your students can log-in using a Zoho ID, Google ID, or Yahoo ID. Here are some related resources that may be of interest to you: Notetaking and Collaborative Research Zoho Docs - Chat and Edit at the Same Time Zoho Notebook Adds an Import Option " From Free Technology for Teachers Blog
