Interesting video regarding Disneys use of haptics to make people feel like they are getting a "real" experience

All the reading about video games in the classroom made me wonder why I personally feel like I learn better from writing then typing and if that is normal. Am i am old fashioned or is there something special about tactile learning? This talks about haptics and the connections between sensorimotor experiences and learning

Shoot! Malika got to this one first! Does look fantastic though, especially the synaptic tag! I never considered how little we actually learn about the brain until we grow older. we teach thinking strategies and studying strategies throughout elementary school, but we never explain why they work or the science behind them, wouldn't that make the lessons more effective?
