Approach for establishing professional development.

Once the goals - and specific content - for a particular ETPD session or program are selected, create the plan that will determine how the professional development will be offered. One way to do this is to select among, then combine, instructional models according to participants' needs, preferences, and contextual/logistical considerations.

Includes vision, goals and tech plans over an extended period of time from 1992-2007.

The Technology Plan plan begins with a vision for student learning, a statement of beliefs, and a rationale for creating and continuing to build networked learning environments. It continues with a detailed explanation of Technology Learning Standards for all students, a description of network and telecommunications services, a description of professional development strategies, benchmarks and timelines for accomplishment of our learning goals, long-term funding strategies, and measures for assessment and evaluation.
