    现代教育技术学是近年来世界教育理论与实践领域发展最快的新兴学科之一，而且已成为跨世纪教育改革的一个极其重要的生长点。中国教育技术的发展经历了从电化教育到教育技术再到现代教育技术几个阶段，学界一度出现了百家争鸣、欣欣向荣的喜人景象。但是非常遗憾，我国对教育技术的研究还停留在引进介绍的层次上，热衷于翻译原著、"拷贝"国外学者的研究成果，过多地在名词概念、定义理解等问题上纠缠不休，缺乏本土化研究，即没有思考过如何建设有中国特色的现代教育技术学。中国的教育技术究竟是什么？它在教育中如何发挥作用？地位如何？反思、研究并解决这些问题。这些问题都应该是关注的焦点问题。
