This project was created to inspire teachers to use technology in engaging ways to help students develop higher level thinking skills. Equally important, it serves to motivate district level leaders to provide teachers with the tools and training to do so.
We chose to use measurement for our numeracy video. We felt that measurement is an important numeracy skill used in everyday life. We believe we did this well. We met all criteria. For the first time we used the flip cameras, movie-maker and youtube to: create, edit and upload our video. We thoroughly enjoyed this process and felt it was an interesting assignment. :)

It also allows the teacher to pause and discuss each topic with the class through the discussion questions provided. It is aimed at Primary School students (years 2-5).
