What if their destination is different than yours? For example, I want students to "learn" and grow, and they may only want to "get it down" for the credit.
In an online course, with instant access to
vast resources of data and information, students are no longer totally
dependent on faculty for knowledge. As faculty are beginning to teach
online, learning is becoming more collaborative, contextual and
active.
I am curious about this terminology. It feels to me that you are describing teacher-centered pedagogy while Andragogy is more student-centered. What do you think?
I like the idea of visual demonstrations by the student, and see how that would be beneficial for dental hygiene. Do you have an idea about what to demonstrate in this class?
