Speaker Annalie Killian, in our module video The learning paradox of ubiquitous connectivity, said that "More time spent online does not necessarily increase learning". Annalie Killian stated that "78% of the population plugged in to the internet, 866 million hours a year spent on Angry birds game". In our discussions Antonia stated that" Skills are learned through observation; skills were learned by hanging on the ankles of the adults in the house. We need to draw on our creativity to create our tactile experiences to solve complex problems and conceive ideas .As a society we have became creatively stagnant because of the Internet, we haven't made a single thing in the physical world." I utterly agree with the speaker and Antonia. Besides, I can say that the internet has an impact on our lives and our learning. Many, if not most, students have never known a world without internet. We have to develop our creativity, our own thoughts and ideas, skills through real-life situations, observations, and explorations. I think that Internet can help us, but it has to be as additional resource tool, as work stations for our individual learning, creativity, or as communication channels to share our ideas. Internet has to be used wisely that to increase our learning, but not to decrease.
The most I enjoyed reading article Model For Designing Instructional Narratives For Adult Learners: Connecting The Dots, in which author Debra Mary Smith describes research study of "how instructional narratives, narratives expressly designed for the purpose of enabling learners to alter their perspective, make decisions, take action, acquire particular capabilities leading to a change in behavior, can be designed and deployed to enable learning, retention and the transfer of learning to practice". Tarik stated in our discussions forum that "Being constantly connected to the outside world never gives our brain the time it needs to reinforce the information learned. Nowadays it is not a matter of what you know but rather where to find what you want to know. In today's society when you ask a 10 year old what is 6x8 they will most likely not be able to tell you the answer but rather would tell you I need a calculator or if you ask someone what year did World War II start they would tell you to Google it." Tarik provided a great example of what world around us today is. Who could have predicted that the Internet will take the main place in our lives? The Internet is an unprecedented gateway to a vast wealth of knowledge and information, and its uses are virtually unlimited.
Lastly that to connect all dots, as Cassandra stated "Connectivity is a very critical aspect when is comes to online learning. From this course we have learned the importance of social experiences and interactions in the learning process". In the article Understanding social presence in text‐based online learning environments is stated that "The connectivity afforded by networked communications technologies within the learning environments and creates opportunities for human-human interaction amongst all participants: learners, tutors, subject matter experts, and support staff. Therefore, interpersonal interaction is a key feature of contemporary online learning." In the article Creating Effective Collaborative Learning Groups in an Online Environment stated that "Connectivism recognizes that in the online learning environment, seeking and constructing knowledge is most often accomplished through interaction and dialogue". Therefore, connectivism and the learning are one whole. In conclusion, I want to finish with a great quote, which I believe, explains the importance of connectivity.

"In nature we never see anything isolated, but everything in connection with something else which is before it, beside it, under it and over it".
    Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.
