European Virtual Museum - 0 views

The European Virtual Museum is a free website, which would be great in a social studies classroom where the teacher would have the chance to show students various artifacts of European history in 3D that they may or may never see otherwise. One important thing to point out is that users must have and be familiar with Quick Time technology to view and manipulate the size or them. position of the artifacts.

This website provides the students an opportunity to allow History to come alive!! This site promotes the content while integrating the technology that makes History fascinating and fun. Students can also access different museums as well as interact with historical figures and places This site would be excellent when using web quests and virtual field trips. This site is easy to manipulate and navigate and this site also provides the educator with tips and guides for lesson design. I believe this is an effective learning tool, especially when differentiating instruction. This site is completely free, and the content is age appropriate, especially when conducting student lead activities.
