Home Automation-Bringing The House of Future - 1 views

  •
Turn your home the house of the future! If you have old age parents and kids, you can assure and pledge their safety and security in your absence when you are out for work. As almost all home activities can happen automatically by the touch of the buttons on the smartphone / ipad / remote, involvement of caretakers can be negated here.

FreedomLab Future Studies » Is asking "What is Internet" a stupid question? - 10 views

  • I got far more the fealing that kids don’t talk about the ‘web’ in total… that’s domething that’s just there like motorway-infrastructure. They expresse themselves by activating tools like msn-ing etc. If I as a Digital Imigrant needed to put a word to what there metaphore would be like, is close to things like the swarm, the crows, the cloud… like it is a huge living IT =)

Woot : One Day, One Deal (SM) - 7 views

shared by Chris Wherley on 30 May 07 - Cached
  • You see that old photo on the wall there behind you, kid? That little boy shaking that old man’s hand is me. That’s right. I was first in line when Ralph, the original owner, first opened up this little outdoor arcade of his. First to pick a lane, first to insert a coin, first to roll one of those wooden balls into the 50 point hole, first skee-ball champion of this great state, that’s me. Since then, I’ve seen this place trade hands more times than I care to count, but I’ve always been here, rollin’ away and rackin’ up the points.

  •
Ed Shepherd, a middle school administrator in Virginia and valuable member of my personal learning network, recently posted a call for definitions of collaboration. In this case, I decided to forget my affinity for 140 characters and bring it to my blog. So, what is collaboration?

  •
Scripting This is the process of writing down on paper what the video is about. Is your piece a comedy? A Drama? Are you interviewing someone? Are you documenting an event? These questions and more are answered during the scripting process.
