Sulfuric acid (American spelling) or sulphuric corrosive (Commonwealth spelling), otherwise called oil of disdain, is a mineral corrosive made out of the components sulfur, oxygen and hydrogen, with atomic recipe H2SO4. It is a dry, unscented and gooey fluid that is miscible with water at all fixations.

Sulphuric acid is a colorless, odorless and viscous liquid, consisting of sulfur, oxygen and nitrogen.

The exhaust - flue gases - from fossil fuel-burning plants, particularly coal-burning plants, constituted an environmental and human health risk, resulting in the development of flue-gas desulfurization systems.
