Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), also called workplace safety equipment, is all protective gear and garments worn by workers, students, construction workers, or visitors to a workplace to prevent or reduce personal injury from falls, cuts, or other accidents on the job.

Conductive Inks are a new development in the printing industry. These pigments are soluble in an aqueous solution, making them easy to use. The use of this ink promotes the use of conductive materials in areas where pigmentation is not applicable such as tattoos, handprints, and rubber designs. This type of ink can also be used to create flatbed items such as labels, envelope seals, and stamps.

An autoclave is a machine used to carry out industrial and scientific processes requiring elevated temperature and pressure in relation to ambient pressure/temperature. Autoclaves are used in medical applications to perform sterilization and in the chemical industry to cure coatings and vulcanize rubber and for hydrothermal synthesis.

Medical gloves are widely used in the medical business to limit the risk of cross-contamination among patients and medical staff, as well as to alleviate pain and infection in patients undergoing various medical operations. Polybutadiene is mainly utilized for flooring, roofing, insulation and other building applications. It is a synthetic rubber having high tensile strength and toughness, resistance to chemicals and heat, abrasion resistance and moisture resistance. Polybutadiene is produced from the polymerization of 1,3-butadiene. Most polybutadienes are made by a solution process, using either a transition metal (Nd, Ni, or Co) complex or an alkyl metal, like butyllithium, as catalyst.

A dispersed formula is used in dispersion adhesives. This indicates that the glue will be applied in a water-carrier solution mixture. Water-based dispersion adhesives have been around for a long time and still have a number of uses. Their disadvantage is that they must dry fast, which can be a problem if a significant amount of adhesive needs to be used in a short amount of time. Another drawback of water-based products is that some of them might harm rubber and plastics.
