An electric charging station, also known as charge point, charging point, electric recharging point, electric vehicle charging station, electric vehicle supply equipment, and electronic charging station is a machine that supplies electric energy to charge plug-in electric vehicles.

A docking station provides a simplified method for plugging in a computer to more common computer peripheral devices. It allows the user to place a computer on its surface and then plugs in all the necessary cables to allow connection to other devices. Common computer peripherals plugged into a docking station includes the printer, scanner, fax modem, scanner, mouse, and any other devices that are designed for use with a computer.
