This book deals with distance education. In part 3, chapter 9, page 177, it specifically explores personal learning environments. The history PLE is examined as well as its use, purpose, some examples, objections and barrier to PLEs, and their place in the future.
This resource is a recent article (24 oct 2013) that deals with a study conducted at four Australian institutions seeking to determine their effectiveness of using a community of practice approach. This article is interesting because of the findings they had of what made it work.

This article deals with how teachers handle educational reforms. I found this article interesting because so much of the educational community is learning how to adapt to use of technological in the classroom finding ways to better help student connect to learning.

This article studies how to prepare teachers for the BYOD (bring your own device) classroom.
This is a great website/tool. I have used it since my undergrad days. Just put in the info and the type of citation style you would like and BOOM! it's cited! It's not perfect of course but makes the work a little easier.
