This class blog project allowed students to share thoughts, experiences, and ideas with each other and with their teacher. They could tell others about their trips and holiday experiences, share thoughts on subjects explored in class, and even greet their new teacher before she arrived.

"The Louisiana Bicentennial Commission asked students to design a promotional plan for a Louisiana tourist attraction and use emerging technologies and social media to promote it. They could not use traditional forms of advertising." While your class may not have the backing of the Tourism Board for your city/county/state or even a statewide competition, it doesn't mean you cannot give the same assignment to your class with the same general guidelines.

Have the students solve the answer to, "How much would you pay if you were allowed to pay as much or as little as you wanted given the certain price of an item" that you have posted to a blog or website you have created. Make them back up their work through an uploaded file of their scratch work OR maybe even a video presentation of what they did!
