This website has so much great information on it. It has ideas for lessons as well as today in history type of information. The web guides link talks about the web and how to use it properly and how to know if a site is credible. This is a tool that I found a week ago and really love it.

Podcasting in the Classroom: EDUCAUSE Pocket Edition #3 | EDUCAUSE - 0 views

Listen to the actual podcast, 14 minutes. Yes, it's from 2006. Yes it's aimed at higher-ed. However, the concepts, applications, ideas are all valid, esp for 7-12. Make podcast tours of town, local sights, etc. with historical context or other curricular relevant information and making them available to others to download - even for small town locales.
