I thought this was a great website for us because you need to know how to use a Smart Board since most of us will have them in our classroom! It tells you a little bit about the Smart Board and also includes a ton of lesson plans for it.

This is a creative lesson planning site. It can be be used from early childhood to 12th grade. You can search ideas by either grade, subject, theme, and/or crayola products.

This website is ran by discovery education. Administrators, teachers, parents and students can use this website. It has lesson plans for K-5 for pretty much any subject you are looking for.

This particular page includes many different short engagement activities to assess student learning. They would be very useful to evaluate individual student understanding of a concept or to monitor progress of the class as a whole.

Has many videos on classroom management, including techniques to get students attention and how to transition them from task to task throughout the day. Great examples if you need guidance in directing the entire class.

Here, many fun games can be found for students to play.  There are all types of games for different subjects such as social studies, language arts, math, science, logic, and many more.

This is a great resource to show students when they are not getting along.  There are several different hypothetical characters and situations that are acted out on this website which can help students deal with their feelings towards others.

This Project Based Learning website has a plethora of information about what project based learning is and why it is important, and offers free videos and articles about project ideas.  There are planning forms, student handouts, rubrics, articles, and project libraries.  What I found really interesting was the blog that you can post ideas and questions on.

Education World provides free resources such as lesson plans, practical information for educators, articles written by experts, web site reviews, and employment listings.  There are many different pages you can navigate to for both teachers and administrators, and even for professional development.  Some other features include a glossary of school issues, technology products, tips, and tools, a work sheet library, and information about school improvement, just to name a few of several.
