iPads4Kids supports the use of iPads in special education classrooms by providing information and links for apps--both free and for purchase. The apps are categorized into groups: reading skills, writing, social skills, reading text, fine motor skills, communication, behavior, and miscellaneous.

This is a wonderful site to help teachers incorporate technology into the classroom. There has been a lot of research lately regarding special needs children and ipads. As a special education teacher, I think it is important to have a lot of sources to pull from when teaching.

More and more schools are using Ipads in the classroom, and this is a slideshow on how to use them as effectively as possible.

This really focuses on colleges, but if you read it the information is relevant for grade schools also. It explains how Ipads are a new interactive way that most students feel comfortable using!

This website allows students to show in groups materials that they know and teachers are able to elaborate or explain the info that they may not know.
