CC- I would use this site by having students map the travels of a leader like Genghis Khan to understand the rise of how he built the world's biggest empire.
Overview- This interactive site lets a user create a timeline of a person using maps. This slideshow can show the travels and journey of a person or country while giving them the chance to post little notes about what specifically happened on a certain day.
Cons- If given out as a project, need to make sure every student has internet access to the site.
