    Great article! REP
  •
I will also be using this article in my guiding activities.
  •
I have used it too, but will try and find another one to add as well.

Kasey, I don't think it matters that we are both using the same resource. In fact, I think it is great because we are doing different activities from the same resources. Teachers will see and appreciate the link.

This article has a great video that explains the process of PBL or in this case CBL.  Note to Laurie-I am not sure that the original challenge is correct because there isn't a clear call to action.

Did You Know 4.0 - YouTube - 2 views

This video is great to show that often times people believe what they see in presentations.
  •
I see the issue as creator responsibility to provide valid facts, and audience responsibility to understand who is the source, and what their "angle" may be. With the proliferation of media creation tools, we can expect students to be source as much as consumers of media/information. And if students provide media, inaccuracy affects more people than if the student is a consumer.

We could ask our students to create a TEDxYouth Talk

I love TED talks and didn't hear about them until two years ago so I think it's great to encourage younger students to do something along those lines!
  •
I use TED talks a lot and was just introduced to them a few years ago too. This is a great idea!
