I thought it was interesting to hear that the first six years of teaching will largely determine the nature of a child's attitude towards authority and the educationaly attitude they carrying forward into middle and high school. I totally agreed. Also this article talks about using the firm hand with the teacher who is consistent and with the truly caring attitude.
