TagCrowd (http://tagcrowd.com/) takes the presentation that one is going to do in class and creates a word cloud of the words that are most important to the training topic. Students can see which words will be most relevant to what they are learning by the size of the words in the word cloud. TagCrowd allows its users the option to download the word cloud to a pdf file or it gives it the code to embed into a website of blog. TagCrowd does allow the user to change the fonts, style, color scheme but for a small onetime fee of $19. The ability to omit words, determine the number of vocabulary words that you want your word cloud to have and the embed codes given to you make it surpass some of their free counterparts like Wordle because what you can do with the word cloud once it is completed is limited.

Tagul (http://tagul.com/) is a free word cloud generator. This generator is better than Wordle and many of its counterparts because even on the free version you have so many stylistic controls. The creator can input the text; determine the color scheme, the shape or the word cloud, axis rotation, and number of words to be displayed. It even has a rollover option for the word that is used infrequently that may be hard to read. The software allows for multiple saving options and even offers embedding code so that the word cloud can be put directly into a website.

Bridge Building (http://physicsquest.homestead.com/bridge.html ) this allows my physics classes to see practical applications to forces as we learn about them in class. In addition to this Web Quest I challenge my students to go to West Point Bridge Building Design Challenge (http://bridgecontest.usma.edu/) and create their own bridges based on what they have learned. If a bridge is exceptional I encourage them to enter it in the contest.

Viddix allows you to connect all kinds of web content to your videos. You can really interact with your audience and deliver your messages more effectively. This site provides the tools for you to build up an argument or description of an event, person or historical period by placing items in a virtual box. You can display anything from a text file to a movie. You can also view and comment on the museum boxes submitted by others. MuseumBox is a cross curricular tool useful in areas of the curriculum where students have to assess, investigate or debate issues and explore and develop ideas. In addition it provides an excellent opportunity for integrating ICT into the curriculum. Not only is this site really original in its concept and organization, but it allows teachers to approve, reject, and edit student projects. If a box is approved, it will go live on the DiscoveryBox website within your school or organization's area. The author of the box will be also able to reload the box in the box creator. You may send a message to the user who created it if you choose this option. If a box is rejected, it will be returned to the author with any message. The author will be able to load the box and make changes, or do any further work on it. You can edit the box and make changes to the text and the audio attachments if necessary.

This is a free software package is on your Microsoft CD or, you can download it from Microsoft.com. Using Photostory, you can create slideshows using your digital photos. With a single click, you can touch-up, crop, or rotate pictures, remove red-eye, add stunning special effects, soundtracks, and your own voice narration to your photo stories. Then, you can personalize them with titles and captions. Small file sizes make it easy to send your photo stories in an e-mail or watch them on your TV, a computer, or a Windows Mobile-based portable device. Students can take their own digital photos to create a time-line, presentation, or video product.

The Kerpoof website is owned and operated by the Walt Disney Company. What is Kerpoof? The answer to that is not so simple. Kerpoof is all about having fun, discovering things, and being creative. Teachers and students can use Kerpoof to make artwork, make an animated movie, students can earn Koins which you can trade for fun things in a store, make a printed card, t-shirt, or mug, tell a story, and make a drawing. Kerpoof has free lesson plans for a variety of disciplines, from math and science to social studies and foreign languages available for download. Educators can register students and arrange them into classes. Students may chat with each other, post creations on a class message board (moderated by the teacher), and collaborate on a project in real-time from different computers. State and National Standards are cross-referenced with Kerpoof they can be used to meet. Kerpoof also publishes a free electronic newsletter that highlights new features, lesson plans, and ideas for using Kerpoof in the classroom.

Inspiration is a powerful website. This provides the learner the ability to make meaniful connections. Mayers states that a two lanes are better one and learning in two channels creates a deeper understanding in pictoral form and verbal(Mayers,2009). This a learner-centered tool with the ability toward online learnering. It will advance the learner coginitive ability.

The Library of Congress website has a vast array of multimedia artifacts that fosters cognitive activity and active engagement.  There are various multimedia artifacts utilized by the Library of Congress including text, pictures, audio, and video materials.

Picturing Modern America 1880-1920 is designed for those teachers focusing on American history from 1880-1920.  The site is very much focused on learner-centered learning.  Students must investigate history by drawing from clues in historical photos.  I will utilize this site in my presentation wiki focused on infusing mulitmedia in a history classroom.

This website offers a 30 day trial of its multimedia software which allows students to demonstrate cognitive activity by creating their own videos and integrating audio, text, and graphics. It allows for learner-centered learning because students are actively engaging in implementing their new knowledge into the videos.

This website applies ISTE standards as it allows teachers to enrich their lessons and assignments, as well as guide students to create their own animations. It provides sample videos that have been created, along with lessons and activities for students to get started in sharing their own knowledge through animations.

This website has various resources for teachers who wish to organize their classrooms. The website focuses on behavioral activity since many of the suggestions are projected to result in the teacher feeling less overwhelmed upon implementing these suggested ideas. There is clearly what Mayer (2009) would refer to as a learner-centered design since many of the included links focus on how learners can play an active role in contributing to classroom organization. Furthermore, there are suggestions with regards to how various items should be placed to accommodate the diverse learning needs of students.
