PBS Kids is an interactive website with multiple activities for different content areas. Most of the literacy activities require users to click on items to find the answer. ABCYA is an interactive website with activities for math and literacy. Users are required to select answers from various choices. Readquarium is also an interactive website for literacy. The activities provide a tutorial for users to read, examples to practice, and feedback to explain the correct answer. Mayer (2009) states a learner's cognitive activity during learning promotes meaningful learning. In his description of behavioral activity, Mayer (2009) also states that cognitively active learning is not guaranteed but is possible. All of the websites mentioned focus on behavioral activity. The websites are also learner-centered because they aid human cognition (Mayer, 2009).
