With this in mind teachers can also feel at ease sharing this tool with their students.
This tool can be utilize to share informative presentations throughout the workshop. Voicethread is also going to be an option for teachers to use in their final product. The voicethread tool is free and user-friendly. Simply register for an account, upload images, complete your voice recording and publish.
Online graphic organizer tool that will also allow teachers to plan their stories, and collaborate with each other. This is a free-tool that's user-friendly and only requires participants to create an acount.
Online bubble maps that can be used in the planning process for presentations. This tool is user-friendly and will allow teachers to share access with each other throughout the workshop. The sharing feature of this tool will also promote the needed collaboration among the group.
Teachers who are familiar with the use of presentation software such as MS Power Point, may opt to use Slideshare to post and share their presentation. Again this a user-friendly tool, with ease of access for participants. The presentations in slideshare can also be embedded into a wiki, blog, or web page that will be used throughout the workshop.
The presentation feature of google docs will allow for easy use for my audience. The tool is simple and doesn't come with the overwhelming features of MS Office PowerP Point. Teachers will use this tool to practice developing a short 3-slide story on the first 3 days of school. This tool is also beneficial because, teachers can again collaborate, and share their materials.
Jennifer Wagner takes the use of Wordle a step further by creating and posting Wordles that promote critical thinking skills among students. Her Wordle of the day could be anything from a Math problem to facts about different countries, literature and more.
