Three websites about using Mimio Boards in the classroom were reviewed and selected. The three websites contain multimedia artifacts and will be identified as learner-centered or technology centered. The Mimio board is one of many in the emerging world of interactive white boards. When set up and used correctly, the Mimio board is a great way to enhance a classroom lesson or conference room presentation.

This website ( Mimio Connect Interactive Teaching Community) offers a self guided training about how to use the Mimio Connect Interactive Board. This site provides a wealth of information about how to implement the Mimio Board in a learning environment. Some information includes: lesson plans and activities, news and events, and tutorials. According to Mayer, a site that requires the learner to follow directions, and complete certain tasks through a tutorial is a learner centered website. (Mayer, 2009).

This website from "youtube" provides a tutorial with illustrations about how to use some of the "bells and whistles" that the Mimio board has to offer. The site provides information about how to use the technological designs of the Mimio board. For example, how to calibrate the board using the Mimio pen is illustrated in the presentation. It is learner centered.

These subscription curriculum related links are free and they will enhance instructional delivery. This website is updated regularly with new educational sites using Mimio. It is technology centered learning.
