    Photo Story 3 Tutorial
    (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0oH9qE9qEY)

Photo Story 3 allows for simplicity of design. It does not have the capability to do all the things that MovieMaking does, but has the capability of doing most things that a good movie making program does. It would be effective for generating learning because it allows for audio, visual, and text and meet the needs of Mayer's (2009) principles for multimedia learning. There were many sites for tutoring Photo Story, but I found this site to use the best of Mayer's principles.

    Movie Maker Video Editing Tutorial
    (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZXK68NS7gU)

This website teaches you how to you add video, still graphics, music, and audio recording to the multimedia presentation. It can be used for essential or generative learning because it allows for the aspects set forth by Mayer's (2009) principles. I viewed several tutorials about MovieMaking and found this to be more comprehensive and effective to meet my needs in developing the course requirements. It creates a better product by allowing the Joint Photographic Experts Group (jpeg) version of existing PowerPoints to be utilized.

    Authentic assessment toolbox (http://jonathan.mueller.faculty.noctrl.edu/toolbox/howdoyoudoit.htm )

This website provides the definition and breaks down the way to do authentic assessment into steps. It does not contain extraneous information, so it is easy to follow. It allows for additional information about each step with a click on your computer. I found this site to be better than others because of its simplicity in design.

    Rubrics for web lessons
    (http://webquest.sdsu.edu/rubrics/weblessons.htm)
This website contains many types of rubrics to fit every need. It gives sample rubrics that are adaptable to meet the needs for various assignments. It even has a collaboration rubric. It is easy to use. Since the rubrics are specifically designed for the online learner, it is better for my purpose than the other sites that are for the face-to-face classroom.
