I have actually used this website for all of my courses at Walden University. It is a very easy way to create rubrics that look professional, but do not take a lot of time to prepare. The rubrics are easy to follow for students or colleagues in a professional setting.

Wiki is a great tool to use with a collaborative group that is working on the same project. They can upload anything to the page; they can change anything to the page; they can share any and information that they may need to effectively collaborate together. Wikispaces houses all information on the site and each member can have granted access to the page. It is a very easy way to meet with group members that are living in other areas of the world or people that struggle with having time to meet during the day can give their information and/or feedback on the material gathered for the project.

This program has presentation templates that are not generic. The templates are unique t what the presentation is trying to sell or the point that it is getting across to the viewers. It is a little bit harder to navigate, but I like the templates that are free to users that sign up for an account. They look very professional and are easy to create as compared to other programs.

Prezi is a great way to put information into an easy presentation format. It is very user friendly with step-by-step instructions of how to navigate the website, and how to start an account. Once you have an account, all the presentations that you create are saved and can only be deleted by the user. The user can also embed the presentations onto wikis and blogs very easily. They also have a manual to use for struggling students that are not familiar with the program. The presentations are easily uploaded and can be viewed by anyone that knows the tags that you attach to the presentation.

This website allows you to pull up the graphic organizer, type in the information, and print it out to keep for future reference. It is very user friendly and students do not need to be taught how to navigate through the website. They can just take a couple of minutes to look at the basic instructions that are at the top of the screen to determine how to use the graphic organizers.

    http://www.eduplace.com/graphicorganizer/

This website has a variety of graphic organizers that one can use with all different types of learners that are in a pdf format. These are free to print, so that learners can write their notes, steps, or brainstorming on the topics being covered in the class or presentation. This website is very user friendly, and I like to fact that we can print off the graphic organizers to hand out the students during the presentation to complete at their own pace instead of trying to learn to navigate a website.

Glogster allows for all the information being presented to be gathered together in one place. Each individual screencast and video has its own link, connecting all the pieces of the presentation in one place. This website is very easy to follow once you get a login and password to start your presentations.

Movie Maker is a great way to create videos for presentations with video clips, powerpoint, and audio. It can be a little difficult to get started if you have created a storyboard prior to starting the movie. I really like using movie maker because you can save the video to just about anything and transfer it over to slideshare or youtube. The website is very user friendly and you can find step-by-step instructions to making your movie creatively. Even though you must have knowledge of how to create you audio, powerpoints, and video clips prior to making the movie, once you have the basic skills needed prior to the making your movie, the videos turn out beautifully.

    YouTube/TeacherTube
    www.youtube.com/www.teachertube.com
This website allows teachers to incorporate video clips in the classroom to help facilitate learning with a new topic. There are many videos that are designed around "sensory modality view" in this website (Mayer, pg. 9). Students are using their eyes and ears to view and listen to the demonstrations provided through this website. Students are also able to have a better understanding of process and labs prior to completing the lab independently in class. This can be used as learner centered when students are learning to use teacher tube.
Web 2.0 Cool Tools for Schools
    http://cooltoolsforschools.wikispaces.com/
This is a wonderful wiki that can be used by any educator that wants to incorporate technology into the classroom. The teacher resources are amazing. There is everything to help students stay engaged in the classroom in almost every academic setting along with professional development opportunities. The collaborative tools are wonderful tools that can be used by teachers to bring in multimedia in the classroom using virtual tools that students can find very engaging. The activities are learner-centered and cognitive based.
    BrainPop
    www.brainpop.com
Brainpop is a great tool to use in the classroom, but the site is limited on the topics that have been discussed. Tim and Moby are great cartoon characters that can bring topics to life for students that may need to visually see and hear the information in a different way than explained by the classroom teacher. Struggling students can learn topics such as the American Revolution through watching a cartoon instead of listening to a lecture, reading guided notes, or reading a chapter from a text book. Students watch a short five to seven minute video followed by a quiz to assess the knowledge obtained from the segment. The student engagement is learner-centered and cognitive based
