Three websites that include multimedia artifacts for active learning:

    1. Lectora Inspire: http://lectora.com/e-learning-software/ This website includes tools for capturing the sreen, recording and editing software, creating animation, reviewing content, and some other additional tools to add audio and visual. The website focuses on cognitive activity. This is learner-centered because the learner uses the tools to enhance the content that the learner is using.

    2. Livescribe's Pencast: http://www.livescribe.com/en-us/pencasts/ This website and app allows people to write out their notes and then the computer transcribes them onto the computer. The notes are then shown and read aliud from the computer. Pictures can also be drawn and transcribed onto the computer. This website focuses on cognitive activity. This is technology-centered learning because the computer is doing all the work of transcribing the information to typed print and is reading it aloud. The learner is just writing or drawing information.

    3. Wix: www.wix.com This website provides the tools needed for users to create a website in flash or HTML5. This website focuses on behavioral activity because when a person learns how to complete a task, that person learns that same task can be done to arrive at the same results. This website focuses on technology-centered learning because there is not more than one way to complete a task. If a user is not comfortable with completing a task a certain way, there is no other way to do it.
