So far the websites I am using are: http://www.edmodo.com-great for communicating with students (habitually absent students) outiside of the classroom and is very similar to Facebook. www.compasslearningodyssey.com-is a very interactive website that allows teachers to assign work to students on various learning levels in a variety of subject levels. Great for students that are missing work from being absent or who are at home due to suspension, illness, other and need to complete work while out of school to maintain a passing grade and learn the necessary concepts covered in class. http://www.scholastic.com/readeveryday/-This website will allow students to research stories covered in class further, research authors, play games, blog, pull worksheets assigned by the teacher for projects and grade recovery and work further towards reading goals.
