Education City is an interactive website that promotes student learning. Education City has interactive lessons, interactive games, and competition among students in the classroom. Another interactive website for students is ABCYA. This website provides students with the opportunity to work on math, reading, and writing. The website provides games and other interactive tools to help students develop a deeper understanding of math and literacy skills. Brain Pop Jr. is a website that provides students with lessons with interesting videos to help students develop a fact base on a variety of topics. These videos are available in all content areas. Following the video students have access to a variety of activities to promote cognitive growth.

According to Mayer (2009), students need cognitive practice to develop a deep understanding of the concepts and skills housed in a particular website. All of the websites listed above are interactive and student-centered, thus making them all learner-centered. Although they require students to respond to information behaviorally, they promote cognitive processes. Cognitive processes takes working memory and integrates it with prior knowledge in students, this turns working memory into long term memory (Laureate Inc., 2009).
