    The three broad learning theories were created during a time of little technology. Students learn differently when they are engaged with a mobile device. The article points out some significant trends in learning. The one that struck me was "Technology is altering (rewiring) our brains. The tools we use define and shape our thinking." Just within the past 6 years from my experience working with children, I can see that students are more engaged and in control of their learning when using technology. Their brain is operating at faster speeds to keep up with the technology.
