There are good examples on this site of how to format a business letter, and good information, but the references to Dixie (the cat?) being the one who "wants to show you" the information is annoying.

This author makes a specific point that TEACHERS DON'T KNOW HOW TO WRITE letters of recommendation, nor do they format them correctly. A good example is linked at the end.
