Katie began riding when she was a child and she was given a pony. She says
that her funniest moment on horses was when she rode naked through her garden

From having lessons every Saturday when she was a youngster, Katie has gone
on to compete in a number of dressage competitions. On her debut in 2008 she
came sixth out of 27 riders at Hickstead showjumping ground in Sussex. There
