"Internet browsing is the strongest forte of iPad because of features like portability, connectivity, functionality and easy access it provides on the go. While iPad's default Browser Safari does more than justice to internet browsing experience on iPad, it does not fully take advantage of the in-built iPad capability and power. This is where all the other iPad Internet Browser alternatives make their entry into the scene, particularly by exploiting the full potential of iPad's offerings and sometimes even providing high end touch gesture integration for internet browsing alacrity."
"While most web-sites provide downloads of current versions, OldApps.com caters to a different market of interest by providing older versions of the same useful programs. Often newer versions are more complicated to use and we understand that it is hard to find older, more user-friendly versions of popular software. Many software providers do not include older versions of their software on their sites, therefore, OldApps.com has found its market niche and provides a vital intermediary function for our users' software needs."
"My series on Chrome Extensions for Teachers. The Chrome web store has apps and it has extensions. Extensions are add on's that that increase your functionality in the Google Chrome browser." Here are some of the coolest things you can do with it. "
"If for any reasons you do not want to upload your classroom videos to YouTube and are looking for another free hosting video that can allow you to upload and share your videos Google Drive is one of your best options. Only few Google Drive users know that there is a functionality in Google Drive that enables anyone with a Google Drive account to instantly upload their videos and after the upload you can get an embed code to integrate your video anywhere on the web. Here is how you can do it."
"Did you know that Google Docs has support for QR codes built-in? That's right, if you know the right function, the Spreadsheets app can generate QR codes with whatever inputs you like."
"For a long time, customers on volume licensing plans have just assumed its logical to keep paying for each desktop or notebook to get a copy of Office. But SoftWatch has highlighted in great detail what a lot of IT departments probably already suspected: That's an awful lot of expense for not a lot of return. Alternatives like Google Apps and Apple's free Office-like Pages, Numbers and Keynote come in at much lower prices and offer file compatibility along with much of the functionality of Microsoft's suite. While none are perfect substitutes, what IT has come to realize in the past half decade is that often productivity isn't about perfection."
"On August 23, 2007 Chris Messina started something so small, he would never know how it might change the world." Both George Couros and Steven Anderson have great posts on hashtags in education. How they function, why we should use them, and some ways to get started immediately with hashtags.
