Apple sales team concerned about shrinking high-end iPhone market, but Schiller disagrees - 1 views

  •
iPhone has been always on the high-end price smartphones in the market. They never change their selling price over the past years, even now. Even though their products are expensive, people are still willing to buy and they have a steady customer base. The sales team were concerned about the high-end market, however, their executive doesn't agree because Apple has solid market share and always be the best selling smartphone almost every month. Even though they have space to adjust their price, I believe Apple will maintain at the same price range and provide valuable goods.

Google offered more than $19B for WhatsApp: Here's why it got turned down - 3 views

  •
Whatsapp turned down a much larger offer because they thought Google was only interested in outbidding Facebook, but not the actual business. They would have more money if they sold to Google, but the developers of Whatsapp cared about their business and users, they decided to sell to a company who really cared about their business. However, no one knows is this a right decision or not. Since technology improves dramatically fast, therefore, Whatsapp can potentially make more money in the future.
