With the end of the year coming, the fiscal cliff still remains to be unsolved. We are $63 million away from the legal borrowing limit which is $16.394 trillion. People are saying if the fiscal cliff happens, the debt ceilling will rise. If the debt ceilling raises, it would require cuts and reforms.

I chose this article because it has a lot to do with the economy. Businesses are growing larger and trade has become more stronger than what people expected. The economy grew at least 2% in the third quarter. not all results support that the economy is growing. The American consumers spent less than what was initially stated.

this relates to the economy because when they bail out many of the nations banks, it will cost taxpayers around $24 billion.
