Good Education World - attractive site with lots of links to other sites. Some good lesson plans, good links to useful sites. I wish it had a better search capability Funbrain - My 5th grade students enjoyed this site last year and it was one of the sites with educational games that I allowed my students to use in class. It does not provide a lot of support material for teachers, but there are some good interactive educational games. National Geographic - depending on what you are looking for, this can be a good site. It offers some great imagery. What it doesn't have is a quick search site so that you can find specific topics. A to Z Teacher stuff - I like this site. I found it easy to navigate and it offers good elementary school materials. Eduweb Bad YouTube - Some might not call this an educational site, but if you watch your children research a topic, they end up here quite often. This site is blocked at our school because of the amount of inappropriate content. Apples4theteacher - too many popups and offers to sign up newsletters/information. Not easily navigated. EdHelper - this site lures you in with offers of free support material and then requires you to join before providing anything of value. Mathmadeeasy - another pay site that lures you in with offers of tutorials and then tries to sell you their product. Wikipedia - I like the site. I realize that the information can sometimes be inaccurate, but it generally has accurate information about topics that elementary school students need to research and the hotlinks to other pages makes it an efficient site.
