To be honest, I was a little hesitant about using technology in the classroom. However, after having explored Digitial File Sharing, I have found that technology can be a very useful and fun tool for the early childhood classroom! Digitial Broadcasting (which include sites like YouTube, ZuiTube, Flickr, Photobucket) can help enrich a child's learning environment in the classroom, make them feel more comfortable in the hospital, or help with a home visiting program.

Obviously, this type of technology has strengths, but it also has weaknesses. For websites like ZuiTube, in order to actually get the full amenities of the website, you have to pay about eight dollars a month. For some websites where you upload photos, you also have to pay money for a subscritption. However, there are a lot of free websites too.

The great thing about this type of technology is that it is fairly easy to learn how to use. Most of the time the websites are self-explanatory, but for the ones that may be a bit more challenging, they provide directions. Children should have an easy time using websites like ZuiTube (and it is great because this website has safe videos for kids).
