this site lets you read  books online for free, you just have to join. Would be great for reading to class and allowing them to read along with you if you project on the screen

This site looks like it has some pretty good resources for teaching reading.  The site also provides links to other reading resource sites.

AMAZING SITE.  You can search by leveled books (including Fountas and Pinnell leveling system -- "guided reading" -- the DRA, etc.) AND you can search for books that are similar to other books your students may have read and enjoyed, and vary the difficulty level accordingly.

GREAT RESOURCE if you can get your school/coworkers to split the cost. my teacher uses these worksheets for everything!

My CT used a reading passage from this website for small group reading. Some worksheets on this page are free.

Right now, teachers can download Storia & five e-books for free on Scholastic's website. Many books have interactive elements with the text and I think they can all also be read to you. It also keeps a Reading Report of time spent reading, what books were reading, how many words were looked up, etc.

Apps for learners who struggle with reading/writing. Most of them seem to be alternate ways to take notes, etc. And many seem to be free--even better!
