Good find Carly- I think that it will become increasingly important for elementary students to learn digital etiquette.

Digital Literacy and Citizenship resources for teachers: includes lesson plans, curriculum by grade levels, and more.  Cool stuff!  I think you have to register to get access to all the materials, but some is available for free.  

Great resource page full of different lesson plans (for both elementary and secondary) from a Canadian Digital Citizenship program.  Scroll down the page to see loads of individual lessons on all topics of D.C., including privacy, copyright laws, internet safety, online etiquette, cyberbullying, and so much more.  Good stuff.

Didn't look through all the lessons but this seems like a pretty good resource for lesson plans about teaching digital citizenship. 

Neat site that offers digital citizenship quizzes for students and resources for teachers. It appears that teacher resources require a free account but student resources do not.

Mostly relating to secondary students; however it is important to learn what older students (those that will impact our younger students) are doing with technology and knowing they want to maintain good online reputations.

Awesome connection for student studying Ancient Greece using Google Maps and Google Earth - definitely tied into SOL WHI.5 The student will demonstrate knowledge of ancient Greece in terms of its impact on Western civilization by : a) assessing the influence of geography on Greek economic, social, and political development, including the impact of Greek commerce and colonies; b) describing Greek mythology and religion; c) identifying the social structure and role of slavery, explaining the significance of citizenship and the development of democracy, and comparing the city-states of Athens and Sparta; d) evaluating the significance of the Persian and Peloponnesian wars; e) characterizing life in Athens during the Golden Age of Pericles; f) citing contributions in drama, poetry, history, sculpture, architecture, science, mathematics,  and philosophy, with emphasis on Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle;  g) explaining the conquest of Greece by Macedonia and the formation and spread of Hellenistic culture by Alexander the Great.

Relates to SOL USII.1 The student will demonstrate skills for historical and geographical analysis and responsible citizenship, including the ability to: i) identify the costs and benefits of specific choices made, including the consequences, both intended and unintended, of the decisions and how people and nations responded to positive and negative incentives.

Another website about internet saftey. These were found on the York County website. During my practicum on Friday the students had a lesson on internet saftey and digital citizenship.
