The Misadventures of Sheriff Lobo was an adventure comedic series premiered on September 18, 1979 and last aired on May 5, 1981. It was a sequel character from television series B.J and the Bear. He is not as corrupt as he was on B.J.'s show, but he is still hoping to be given the reward money for property he recovers.

It was about the two detective officers, Crockett who lived at the sailboat with his alligator named Elvis and Tubbs, a black police officer in New York who is searching for the murderer of his brother. The two went to Florida and share their own adventures and misadventure as they continue battling against drug, prostitution, and firearms in the underworld of the Miami City.
