Brooklyn Bridge was aired on CBS from September 20, 1991 until August 6, 1993. Sam Weisman and Sandy Smolan produced the series and was written by Joseph Purdy and Ben Cardinale. My Three Sons was an American situation comedy that follows the life of widowed aeoronautical engineer Steve Douglas (Fred MacMurray) and his three sons namely Mike (Tim Considine), Robbie (Don Grady) and Chip (Stanley Livingston). In the later seasons, the eldest son Mike moved to California after marrying his childhood sweetheat Sally (Meredith MacRae) and Steve adopted Chip's friend Ernie (Barry Livingston). Always there to help steve with the family is Bub O'Casey (William Frawley), and later by Charlie O'Casie (William Demarest), both maternal grandfather of the boys.

Who's the Boss was a television situation comedy about Tony Micelli (Tony Danza), a widowed former second baseman for the Saint Louis Cardinals and his female boss Angela Bower (Judith Light), a divorced career-driven advertising executive. Micelli was forced retire, due to a shoulder injury, and ended up working for Angela as a live-in housekeeper. In the long run, Micelli was not only managing the household but also acting as a role model to Bower's son Jonathan (Danny Pintauro), and Bower to his daughter Samatha (Alyssa Milano) - to complete the family and complicate the two's unusual relationship was feisty and oversexed mother Mona Robinson (Katherine Helmond).

John Grogan's book, "Marley & Me" was one of the most enjoyable books I have ever read! And yes the movie as well. It starts with a newlywed couple, John and Jenny. They move from Michigan to Florida and get jobs as newspaper reporters. Jenny wants to have a baby. However, John is not ready for fatherhood yet. So, they adopt Marley, a Lab puppy, that they fall in love with.
