    Personally I don't use DrupalED but I also have done a lot of tinkering to get our systems to where they are. DrupalED will come with a certain level of pre-installation done and will setup a lot of defaults that users might not know they want / need ahead of time. Personally I'd go with the one-click install but it really all depends on what you're wanting to do.
