Daimler employee files another racial complaint - 2 views

  • The work environment favors Caucasians and Germans over a few ethnic minorities who are subjected to hostility, ridicule and insult from peers and can be traced to the pro-German culture of the company,

It is hard to believe that the pro-German culture from long long ago is still having an effect on the workplace and the workers
  •
I think that it is ridiculous that these pro-german or pro-white employees and management see race as a determining factor in the workplace. Someone's skin color does not effect their work quality. The pro-german workers have no special inherent qualities that make them better employees than the African-American workers.

No workplace discrimination laws for gays | WyomingNews.com - 0 views

This article emphasizes how there is a misrepresentation in anti-discriminatory laws benefiting people of differing sexualities. It makes it very obvious that even though the Supreme court won't hear any cases on the disallowance oh HBTQ peoples right to marry, there is a need for legislation defining HBTQ rights.

Miami travel company ordered to pay $200K in race discrimination suit - South Florida B... - 4 views

  •
I think the decision made for the company to pay $200K was reasonable and was the right decision since the discrimination that can be seen here is very clear
  •
Yeah, this is a great example of discrimination in the work place. A lot of people like to think that discrimination is a thing of the past, but it's not. The sooner people come to this realization, the sooner we can begin to end discrimination on a much larger scale.
  •
Wow I can't believe that this kind of racial discrimination is still prominent in a workplace. I think that company deserved to pay that lawsuit for $200K. It's important that these kind of people learn that racial discrimination is a thing that needs to be put to rest.
