I found this website while doing the SAQ marking exercise. I was looking into the research of Craik and Tulving on how deep and shallow processing affects memory recall.
Our online workshop convenor challenged me with : "If you get a chance check Antonio Damasio's Descartes' Error. Damasio is a Portuguese American neuroscientist who deals with emotions and consciousness. Interesting handling of Gage's case and other issues dealing with localization of function in the brain."
I found him very interesting. A great resource and study for TOK teachers as well:
www.thinkib.net/psychology This one was recommended to me by an experienced IB Psych teacher. This is her go to resource. She uses the Oxford Course Companion for her students and finds that this site by John Crane complements that textbook well. It does cost about $250 USD per year to subscribe. http://ibpsych.com/ So much work has been for the IB Diploma Psych programme , including many free PowerPoint presentations linking directly to what we will be teaching. http://www.psychologyib.com/ More resources specifically tailored to the IB Psychology course.
Nothing too original here, but all great go to resources for those starting out.
