lots of samples and planning documents
  •
This section of the site is dedicated to support for the internal assessment [IA]. In addition to guidelines for setting up and carrying out the IA, there are materials to help students monitor their own progress, tips for assessing the drafts, ideas for studies to replicate, and samples of good papers.

I love John Crane's Think IB website and it has a wonderful section dedicated to the IA

This website is very useful for students because it provides them with sample essays for each level of analysis. Students can model their essays on these, and identify areas of strength and weakness.

The APA/TOPSS released a manual for new psychology teachers, and it looks like it's full of great resources! See the announcement below for details. "New high school psychology teachers may have a number of questions about how to proceed with instruction in their first psychology teaching assignment.

BPS Research Digest - 1 views

This site will help you keep up-to-date with the latest psychology research. You could find some experimental studies that can be replicated, but that's not so easy and you might have to do quite a lot of searching.

Hi Tulia, The BPS and APA are very useful. 3 other sights that my be of use: http://www.holah.co.uk/page/home/ Although is set up for AS level it ahs many relevant studies that might be replicated by students and several studies covered in the levels of analysis. Overall summary of the studies aims, procedures, findings are given, quizzes and key words. psychlotron.org.uk Really good sight for all topic areas- power points, lesson plans, and worksheets/handouts. Applicable to most syllabuses. http://www.resourcd.com/forum/show_forum/2 A really good site where teachers share resources for all syllabuses- power points, handouts, clips, quizzes etc Best regards, Yvette

For some reason I think this didn't work the first time! This website is The British Psychological Society's blog. It is called "Research Digest: Blogging on brain and behaviour", and it reports on current research papers. As a sample of their attention-grabbing research posts, there are such titles as "The Psychology of Facebook, Digested" (Social Anxiety) and "10 Hellish Psychology Studies You'll Be Glad Not To Have Participated In" (Research Ethics). It seems like a great site to spark student interest into a variety of relevant research topics in a "digestible" way.

One of the first websites I came across when looking for resources; Haven't stopped using it since. Perfect for practicing to write research summaries!
