Sabrina Stradtner on 19 Nov 11I have not seen this movie but have also thought about it. I know many high school classes view it. If I can find it on Netflix or at my library I might watch it soon

Certainly one of the most disturbing documentaries I've seen. Looks at the food industry and what their practices are like, and how these practices affect us as consumers.

This isn't a film I would recommend showing to young children if you want them to continue eating meat. Disturbing scenes of the treatment of animals in factory farms and slaughterhouses.

I found this film to be a game-changer. I tend to made much more careful choices about food than I did before I watched it. Having been an on-again/off-again vegetarian for years, it didn't seal the deal for me in that way, but it definitely made me a more considerate consumer. My father hasn't eaten chicken since he saw the film - and I imagine his reaction is similar to that of young children.
